Welcome to our Nelson and Rossendale's website. Nelson and Rossendale play in the
North West Division 1. The Blues were unlucky to have been relegated last season from the Northern Counties Hockey
League, Division 2 (West), but this follows a period of extreme success having achieved 3 promotions within 5 years from the
North West League previously. Nelson and Rossendale are looking to bounce back quickly and 2005/2006 should prove to be a
fruitful year.
Nelson and Rossendale has two sides and contains a mix of young talent and experienced players. The
number of members has steadily grown over the past few years as the first team has continued to win and the outlook
for the club is healthy. A new coaching system has been implemented in the club and strong links with the local ladies team
are established. Nelson and Rossendale is the highest ranked club in quite a large area. The catchment area for our players
stretches from Bury, right the way past Colne towards Barnsoldwick.
The club aims to keep
growing and is always on the lookout for new members. I hope all users of this site find it useful and of interest. If you

Nelson and Rossendale
are currently looking for sponsorship from any local firms within the area. A number of sponsorship opportunities are available,
ranging from match cards to shirt sponsors. Any sponsor will also have their logo appear on any letters sent by the club,
and will also have their logo displayed on this website and the fixtures live page, which can be accessed via the results
